Summary:

The episode leans hard into dread, temptation, and Maul’s creepy mentor energy.

Basically: everybody makes one bad decision after another, and then an Imperial Star Destroyer shows up to make it everyone’s problem.

Midseason episodes like this are where the screws get turned, and this one sounds built to do exactly that.

Oliver gets horribly wrecked, Thaedus pays dearly, and the episode turns into one long slab of galactic violence and despair. Cheerful stuff.
