A new Avatar inherits a broken world

Season Synopsis:
With Russ Holliday’s secret exposed to more people, keeping Chad Powers alive becomes increasingly complicated. Russ attempts to lead the South Georgia Catfish toward the playoffs while Gerry discovers the truth and tries to use it for his own gambling scheme. Ricky faces a major career decision, Coach Hudson receives life-changing news, and Russ learns that his second chance may require him to become a better person instead of simply playing one.
The season ends with Gerry attempting to sabotage Chad, Tricia stepping in to protect Russ, Ricky considering a coaching job at Syracuse, and Coach Hudson announcing his retirement due to health concerns. Hulu released all six episodes together, ending with “12th Quarter.”

The photograph and USB drive are finally explained, revealing a formula for a deadly chemical weapon developed through a CIA-backed project in Indonesia.
Lila and Amisha plan to demonstrate the weapon before selling it through the dark web. Congressman John Sampson recognizes the suicide bomber at his fundraiser and tackles him into the river moments before the device detonates, apparently sacrificing himself to prevent a mass-casualty attack.

Hal Jordan and John Stewart infiltrate William Macon’s compound but quickly find themselves captured by his militia. Macon responds to their investigation with the ultimate display of confidence, stripping naked and ordering former art student John Stewart to draw him.
The investigation also exposes Hector Gutierrez as a decoy connected to alien technology. The much larger revelation is that Zoe Macon is the Manhunter the Lanterns have been searching for. Her apparent death, survival, and confession to John suggest that she may be more complicated than the murderous machine everyone expects.
