He requests reinforcements from Commandant Brendol Hux and questions Captain Pellaeon on the absence of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Reassembling on Nevarro, Bo-Katan unites the Mandalorian clans and prepares a recon party to explore the surface of Mandalore and locate the Great Forge. Before leaving, Greef Karga presents Din Djarin with IG-12: a rebuilt version of IG-11, which is able to be controlled by Grogu. On Mandalore, the group meets another surviving clan, who is loyal to Bo-Katan. Bo-Katan admits that she surrendered to Gideon shortly after the Night of a Thousand Tears, hoping that her people would be spared from further harm. The party finds the Great Forge but is ambushed by beskar-enhanced stormtroopers. Djarin is captured by Gideon, who reveals his intent to complete the Great Purge of Mandalore. He attempts to kill the search party, but Bo-Katan uses the Darksaber to make an escape for the group, with Paz Vizsla staying behind to buy time. Vizsla fights off the stormtroopers but falls to Gideon’s Praetorian Guards.

Directed by: Terry Matalas
Written by: Sean Tretta & Kiley Rossetter
Aired: April 13, 2023
Summary:
Troi realizes Jack is connected to the Borg, the source of all the voices he hears. Jack takes off to deal with them, resulting in his capture by the Borg Queen. As the Titan races to the Starfleet anniversary celebrations above Earth, Data, Geordi, and Beverly finally discover why the rogue Changelings stole Picard’s corpse: they were working with the Borg. The Changelings copied Picard’s Borg-altered DNA and tricked the transporters into implanting the alterations in all users, effective in those whose parietal lobes are still developing–until age 25 in humans. Picard informs fellow Admiral Shelby of the developments but is too late as the Borg triggers the entire fleet’s assimilation, including Geordi’s daughters, and kills Shelby; Seven remains immune to the assimilation signal. Shaw sacrifices himself to defend the Titan from the Borg and hands over command to Seven who remains behind with Raffi. Geordi leads the crew via shuttlecraft to the Starfleet Museum where he reveals that he secretly rebuilt the Enterprise-D after its destruction; it is now the only operable starship without Borg-designed swarm intelligence enhancements. The Enterprise’s old crew presses her back into service to save the Federation from the Borg.
